You are cordially invited to attend an online forum theatre on the issues experienced by University Language Teachers and Lecturers. Forum theatre is a type of theatre where spectators are "spect-actors" (spectators and actors), as they engage with and influence the performance by stopping and changing it. On this occasion, we want to identify some of the main issues affecting University Language Teachers and Lecturers and explore solutions to the issues featured in the performance.
This event is jointly organised by our research strand Diasporic Identities and the Politics of Language Teaching and Cardboard Citizens (www.cardboardcitizens.org.uk). There will be two performances, and being an organic event, you can attend both should you wish to do so:
Wednesday 25 November 2020 3pm GMT
Friday 27 November 2020 6pm GMT
If you are interested in attending, please email diasporic.identities@open.ac.uk to book a place. You will receive a link to join the performances nearer the event date.
We look forward to seeing you at these events.
