Future Memories was a 2-hour site-responsive, experiential and collaborative workshop that draws on Julia Rédei’s expertise in designing and hosting creative writing workshops. Using elements of creative writing, mindfulness and translation, participants explored and interacted with an area within Bush House to observe and take notes for their future memories. Writing in their first language before translating into a shared language formed the base for a collaborative exploration: How does the language we use shape our memories? This workshop was contemplative, quiet and poetic, with periods of silence, one-to-one interaction and group sharing.
