Practice multilingualism!

Home Aims & Themes Programme Registration Participate Calendar Contact

The irony of hosting an event on multilingualism in English is not lost on us, but we feel that this has value for some of the objectives we have set ourselves, and because of the way in which much digital theory and practice currently operates. That said, we encourage people to start up new dialogues in and across multiple languages, in particular on social channels.

We also encourage people to consult the GO::DH Translation toolkit, which has interesting ideas on how to organise multilingually (https://go-dh.github.io/translation-toolkit/conferences/)

Participants are encouraged to also suggest additional language channels in Slack as a way to engage in this discussion about #digitalmultilingualism in different languages.
