This event closed the first stage of the training programme From Practice to Research in Modern Languages that started in January 2017.
The day gave participant teachers an opportunity to share their thoughts about researching Modern Languages in a supportive environment and also provided training on public speaking.
The event was divided into two parts:
A workshop in the morning to give Modern Languages teachers a chance to receive training in public speaking and prepare a brief presentation about their research. The workshop was led by award-winning public-speaking expert and Modern Languages academic (Open University) Dr Klaus-Dieter Rossade.
The afternoon consisted of a seminar where participants shared their presentations with others and received feedback.
